THE DESIGN PROCESS
The process of interior design and decorating can be a daunting one when
there are so many options and possibilities available. At an initial consultation,
Sally will travel to your home or office and spend time discussing your
specific requirements. She will look at the room or rooms in question and
consider the aspect, existing colours and furnishings and what pieces of
furniture will be retained in the new "scheme". This is also the
time to discuss budgets, time frames and any other requirements you may
have, for example child or pet friendly fabrics. The first meeting will
end with Sally having an informed view of what is required which will then
help her to plan which suppliers to access to find suitable products.
"Each client's requirements are different and each project
is unique."
At a second meeting Sally will present ideas relating to the colour
scheme, materials to be used and overall feel of the design. This
will be followed up with further meetings and the submission of
quotes until all aspects of the design are agreed upon. At all
stages of the process you, the client, are involved in the selection
of materials and finishes.
"My aim is to be as inclusive and accommodating of clients' individual
requests as possible".
Consultations can be arranged by appointment. A design fee will be applicable for this service.
